Yosemite National Park - Valley View Sunset
I shot this when I was in Yosemite National Park earlier this year with the rest of the gang of Disney photographers. I arrived the night/early morning before everyone else, and for whatever reason I was out wandering around by myself while everyone else was setting up for the Horsetail Falls Firefall. I grabbed this golden hour shot and a few other locations before finally showing up at the park area for the Firefall viewing.
I didn't realize just how many people would be there, as there was literally barely anywhere to set-up by the time I arrived (keeping in mind that this sight was pretty much above us, this area filling up was quite impressive). It all worked out in the end, as I managed to get several shots in different spots without wasting a lot of time waiting around for the Firefall!
I've started posting regularly on my general travel blog, TravelCaffeine! I've recently posted several National Parks shots, including one from Pinnacles National Park yesterday and a shot of a rainbow over Acadia National Park that went "viral" (I guess...as far as photos can go viral). If you like photos beyond Disney, please check it out!
