The Natchez Hotel
Post Card of the Day
An old post card of the Natchez Hotel at Franklin and Pearl Streets in Natchez, Mississippi. The hotel opened for business on September 1, 1891. This view shows the building after its spectacular corner turret was removed. The domed turret was destroyed in a fire in the 1920s, but the hotel managed to stay in business until the mid-1960s. It was demolished without ceremony.
