The Entry Veins of San Francisco

    Newer Older

Don't know why it took me 3 years to actually go and take this one. I drive through one of those overpasses every week and say to myself how cool the shot would be. Well I finally got myself their to get it. It was a little breezy, so the shots were not as crisp as I would have liked. Definitely will be exploring around this area for more angles though.

    Canon 70-200mm f/4L
    30 seconds at f/18 ISO 100

Wow, crazy mess of freeways! I think this would look cool zoomed in just in the area of the light trails too.

This is awesome. I agree with Sealis. In fact, now I want to head over there and take that picture.

You know I tried zooming in a little and for some reason didn't love it, not sure what I was thinking, must have been late when I was editing :) But yea I definitely agree! Thanks!

Thanks Andrew, It's a cool spot and down the hill you can get even closer, in my other picture which I haven't posted it is a great spot, but want to get even closer next time, and maybe even a bit earlier as well. Here is the other spot.

This is just great. I've driven, bicycled, and even walked through that mess a thousand times and still see no logic to it but now you have lifted the veil.

(My own theory about the Spaghetti Bowl is that it was designed and built by engineers and workers being secretly experimented on with LSD by a secret government team back in the forties or fifties.)

The picture itself is definitely awesome.

hahaha that theory is probably true! And Thank you!

That's the 2nd snazzy long exposure from Bernal Heights recently, it's looking like a top spot for this kind of thing. Nice one.

    13. tobyharriman 24 months ago | reply

Thanks! And yeah I know I told a few people that might have visited. It is a great spot regardless though!

Nice shot of the veins/arteries! This has been on my list for a while but havent made it out to shoot it yet. Great one!

    15. tobyharriman 24 months ago | reply

Thanks Willie! It was on my list for over a year before I went to shoot it. I want to do some more exploring around there to see what else I can fine, view wise! Lots and lots of great views from up there.
