Lucky I was out while the light was good. It turned pretty cloudy within 20 minuts after this.

By what force do you get the clouds to do what you wish them to do? LOL Nice.

Great crisp shot. Looks like it could pass for 20 degrees out. I like those old elevators.

Such a wonderful shot. Amazing capture and I'm glad you got the light perfectly too, esp as it went cloudy later on! Excellent work mate!

I could put a chair right there and watch the trains go by... Nice Americana shot.

Very Hopper-esque and I agree with Happyshooter.... True Americana.

One of your best, Toby. Worth printing and framing.

Yeah, I like this one, too. Sometimes it all hits. We went to Lone Tree, IA as Mrs. Z used to go there as a girl to see her Gramps & Gram. She loved her Gram deeply.

Used to take the Greyhound to West Liberty (above) and they would come get her for the visits. So she had a chance to touch her past and remember them. Seriously, you never really can go home again.

It's fabulous, Toby!! I love these silos and grain elevators...we have them all over and so far I haven't shot any. Guess I need to remedy that. Doubt I could do anywhere near as nice as this though!
