then there were a few more tests, and fresh chemicals mixed. This last one is done with a similar goop to my R4, but using Rodinal as the developer base. Unfortunately this has yielded very similar results, with no improvement, but it does show that using an "open source" formulation is viable, though its longevity is still yet to be established.
These initial tests have helped me isolate some issues. But now also experience the electrolytic problem with the alkali effectively electroplating the negative with the unused silver halides.
