Caribou Lake

Caribou Lake and the west face of the Arapaho Peaks bathed in soft, sunset light. This beautiful basin is just below Arapaho Pass in the Indian Peaks Wilderness of Colorado's Front Range. This was taken back in the summer of 2014.

For more on the fascinating human history in this beautiful basin, dating back 8,000 years, check out: thelivingwest.com/caribou-lake-and-the-paleo-indians/
