Blue Jay Eating in My Backyard

Playing on the back porch with the old FD 600mm. My backyard backs up to a ravine that is a designated watershed area for Bennettes Creek and subsequently the Chesapeake Bay. So there is a decent sized wooded area between my house and the development behind us. For the first time this area was actually useful, as it was full of birds the other day. Great practice with the lens, even if the birds are still tiny in the VF, even at 600mm. The lens is an FD 600mm 4.5 converted to eos via an EdMika adapter ring.
