The Bridge | Delhi, India
This bridge over the New Delhi Railway Station complex serves as a major arterial for pedestrians and vehicles of all sorts traveling between Paharganj and Old Delhi. It is a fascinating place to be at the end of the day as people return home from their day's work. A minute earlier this sidewalk had been deserted; then a train arrived, either at NDLS or the nearby Delhi Metro Station, and I discovered myself engulfed in people headed into Paharganj.
I was particularly struck by the woman with the bright red powder in the part of her hair. This indicates that she is married.
