Run! | Delhi, India
I returned to this bridge each evening to watch the spectacle. Every imaginable form of transportation was employed to move people and cargo, from cow drawn wagons and hand carts to bicycle rickshaws, motorcycles, cars, buses and giant colorful lorries. Every once in a while a vehicle would pass by headed in the wrong direction. People just moved over to make way.
Shortly after taking this photo, the boy on the wagon looked up at me and shouted, "Run!" I wasn't sure what he meant but as I turned around and looked behind me a pick pocket made a quick about face and scurried off in the opposite direction.
