Day 76 - Baby Steps
Critique/commentary very much appreciated.
Trying something new: interior lighting. I apparently need to spend some time browsing Photography For Real Estate. I don't know specifically that I'm deeply interested in this sort of thing, but I have a hunch that I might be, and especially with the addition of the wide-angle zoom, I've got a reasonable starting point for gear. So time to experiment.
I've got a job lined up for a couple weeks from now, setting up background/lights/camera yearbook style and taking headshots of a few hundred realtors. Given that, and inspired by a recent Strobist Boot Camp assignment, I checked with the lady that is organizing to see if I could possibly present some examples of professional lighting (I'm hoping not mine, we'll see.)
So now, if I want to take advantage of this opportunity, I've got about two weeks to put together some information. Given that the realtors involved will be from all over the nation, I'm hoping to include some contact information for people all over the country. I posted to the flickr group, but so far no dice. So we'll see if this goes anywhere or not, but I'm gonna try to attempt some interiors and see how things go.
Strobist info: a 580 @ 1/1, with 1/2 CTO gel on camera at ceiling. A 430 @ 1/2 between couch and ottoman with 1/4 CTO gel, pointing upward. The same 430 in the lamp on the right (blended in via post, you can see the blend line running diagonally into the upper right corner). A 2nd 430 @ 1/2 with 1/4 CTO gel in the left room.
