Fly Smoothie, Pt. 4 - _TNY_8490
I got lucky and managed a couple of shots of someone else who got lucky!
This is a female zebra spider (Salticus scenicus), the by far most common jumping spider where I live.
Her catch, which now had turned into a fly smoothie by the digestive fluids she had injected into it, is a Anthomyia fly of some sort (no idea on the exact species).
Shot using the Canon MP-E65mm at 2.7:1 magnification.
