Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands

With your sheets like metal and your belt like lace

And your deck of cards missing the jack and the ace

And your basement clothes and your hollow face

Who among them can think he could outguess you?

With your silhouette when the sunlight dims

Into your eyes where the moonlight swims

And your match-book songs and your gypsy hymns

Who among them would try to impress you?

Sad-eyed lady of the lowlands

Where the sad-eyed prophets say that no man comes

My warehouse eyes, my Arabian drums

Should I put them by your gate

Or, sad-eyed lady, should I wait?

'Sad Eyed Lady Of The Lowlands' ~Bob Dylan~

That's just a portion of the lyrics of this song, it's over eleven minutes in it's entirety so I figured you wouldn't scroll that far. I chose this part of the song because of the beauty of his words. I discovered Bob Dylan in the '80s when everyone else was listening to Bananarama.......I've always been behind the times......but I've never really tried to keep up. Instead I go at my own pace and in my own direction.........aware of what's going on around me but not letting it sway me into a different decision. If you see a crowd of people somewhere, I can pretty much guarantee that I won't be in it.

I'm wearing the 'Carian' hair with sunhat from MINA Hair.
