"Frank" by Chuck Close

The painting called "Frank" (1969, self-portrait, oil on canvas) was done by Chuck Close (b. 1940). It hangs in the Minneapolis Institute of Art. It's freakishly realistic and makes quite a statement when you see it on the far wall of the gallery.
