Cloud Lightning

Newer Older

After the tornado clouds passed, we followed this light show all the way home. After a while, I just had to stop to see if I could capture it. This was the first shot I took, and probably the best. Lightning photography isn't something I've ever gotten very good at.

Once we got closer to home, we had a flat tire. We were driving Joel's car, and the front left tire just gave up the ghost. I guess I'm glad I wasn't trying to outrun a tornado at that point! Needless to say, it was terribly hot changing that tire.

When we got home, I installed the window air conditioner in our bedroom. When I was ready to go to bed in my nice cool room, I pulled the chain for the ceiling fan, which proceeded to break off, preventing me from turning on the fan. So I opened the wiring housing, hotwired the fan, and went to sleep, happy, frustrated, and exhausted.
