Green Smoothie

Tried a buddies green smoothie recipe today.. Wasn't too bad, but I wanna do some experimenting with other fruits and stuff.. It also turned out better than my last attempt, the avacado helps make it "smooth." The recipe for this one is:


5 Red Swiss chard leaves

½ an avacado

Juice from ½ of a lime

1 - 3 (I use 3) garlic clove

2 - 3 roma tomatoes

2 cups water


Add all the stuff to the blender, and beat the hell out of it on high setting for 7 or 8 minutes. It might be warm/hot, so you might want to put it into a couple of pint containers and let them cool off in the fridge for a bit before drinking any.


I may try some banana, grapes or mango in future versions..
