White Oak

After the end of our LF workshop in the Lakes, we spent a bit of time below Hallin Fell and I found this, oak leaves and stuff and reflections etc... wait until the sky gets bright and set the exposure to push the highlights and play with the shadows. One of my favourite images from the last year.

Very very clever tim, a tree made from leaves! Or so it? liked the little journey I just went on with this..
  • Pete Hyde PRO 3y

Very well seen Tim, really like the "marble effect" that Michael mentions and the range of leaf colours.

I've admired this image on your own site for a while now, it is truly wonderful Tim. They don't come much better than this.

Superb. Just need a figures shadow with money from a wishing well now ;)
A really strong shot all around. I hope to make more like this now I have sorted the dof issue I had with the Zeiss/Hasselblad 80mm tilt. Working a treat.

Excellent and well thought out image.

I particularly like the lower half, and the way it blends into it - those leaves coming through.
  • John Irvine 3y

Excellent Tim, it really needed the organisation of the leaves in the bottom right corner to complete the image.
  • Charles Augustus PRO 3y

Strong composition, and very attractive batik effect - nice!
