Sydney Funnelweb Spider

Probably the most lethal spider in the world, in a typically bad mood.

 

I work as the resident picture taker at Sydney Wildlife World, and these guys are definitely one of our most talked about residents.

 

Those fangs can easily pierce a shoe, or even a finger or toe nail.

 

Took this one on my back-up camera (Nikon D90) and still pretty happy with the relative lack of noise, considering the 800 ISO speed.
