german village tudor store

Most structures are at least partly brick. A few have clapboard siding and some have Tudor details in wood. This store sells glass objects, jewelry, home accessories and the like.

German Village is just a brick's throw from downtown Columbus Ohio. Originally settled by brewery worker, who built modest but substantial homes. Many have been preserved and remodeled into little gems. Brick streets add to charm, with a number of local restaurants. I became familiar with it when I illustrated the guide book for their home tour.
