2015 - Vancouver - East Van Spring
I like early spring when trees bloom and the green looks so fresh before the leaves fill out and darken. This is a typical street in one of Vancouver's older neighbourhoods, Grandview-Woodland (aka Grandview-Woodlands), where many of the streets have a lovely canopy of large mature trees shading the street.
This is East 6th Ave viewed from Semilin Drive.

Good afternoon Ted,
I am a project officer at Engineers Australia, a peak body for the engineering profession in Australia. I am contacting you on behalf of the Sustainable Engineering Society (SENG), a technical society of Engineers Australia.
We would like permission to use an image on your website in a sustainability training module being developed by SENG. The training module is being developed by SENG members on a volunteer basis primarily for an Australian audience, with the purpose of raising awareness among engineers about the importance of sustainability. It will be available free of charge via an online platform that anyone can access.
The image we would like to use is of a tree-lined street, waterbucket.ca/rm/files/2016/02/street-tree-canopy.jpg.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or need any further information.
Kind regards,
Josie
