This is absolutey seering, Tim. I think I rmember it from before - but its just chilling. Its one of these pictures that needs no words, and surely no other images anywhere near for many many moments. Its a photo that makes all the noise shut up. It makes you have to try to figure out what's wrong with everything. Could be the cover of a book on the state of the world today. and I'm not joking here. This photo stops everything. And the quiet that follows is crowded with questions.

Very Eastern European vibe; Commie country.
Remember what Jim in "Repo Man" said.
The more you drive, the less intelligent you are (something like that)
      traffic grid-locks the brain.

Yes, I agree with your Rapunzel take on it. Another thing is the raggedy stuff around the mouth which is shaped like an explosion - I keep coming back to this part. The power of the word? The result of truth tellling? Also, of course, the diagonal which divides it into two distinct spheres - like denail and reality - like Yin and Yang.
Thank you for your comment a couple of days ago on Carney and his recovery.

Very disturbing, can't help but focus on the flawless porcelain skin against the rusty barbed wire.

Expresses how I felt as a teen. Locked within the walls because I couldn't tell anyone of the sexual abuse I had experenced. Sent me into 30 years of depression. No more walls now though. Truely a wonderful photo
