A Spectacular Morning

    Newer Older

Portland Head Light is hard to ignore. When I get up and notice the light looks like it's going to be good, if I don't have a specific destination already in mind to go shoot, it always pops into my head. "I bet it'll be beautiful at Portland Head Light this morning."

I've been shooting too many lighthouses, and too many panoramas lately and feel like I need to get back to mixing things up. Having said that, regarding Portland Head Light, I think I'm going to stop worrying about it and shoot it when I feel like it. If and when I get tired of it, so be it. For now though, it's such a magical place to be.
