1st August 2007 is the 100th Anniversary of BP's experimental camp on Brownsea Island, the birth of the Scout Movement. To celebrate the centenary Scouts were meeting at 08:00 AM to reaffirm their promise. In Sutton Coldfield, however, we met at 8 PM at the Jamboree Stone, which marks the 1957 World Jamboree.
