Shinjuku East Central

The building up ahead is JR Shinjuku Station's main building, over the east exits. Right under the "JR" is the Shinjuku Station Central East Exit. The orange sign on the pole in front of you says that we're standing in the Shinjuku East Exit Central Street.

These names are useless to humans. No one can untangle the riddle in their head, so other landmarks are used as rendezvous spots. There is nothing memorable around here, so it's much emptier than other spots around the station. They could use a statue of some sort.

On a beautiful day in November, 2009, I took a series of photographs on a loop walk of Shinjuku Station. I'll be posting them one every day or so with anything that comes to mind.
