Transit Map of Seattle, 1967

Curious about where bus routes were in 1967? Check it out!

Compare with the 1948 map.

I'm curious about Burien! Apparently after Seattle cut off Burien in 1930, and then literally let the streetcars rot on the rails, they truly abandoned unincorporated King County. Did it take Metro's take over to bring it back?

This map is slightly distorted because of the stitching software I used. It's been folded up on the back page of the book for 40 years, so apologies if your neighborhood is on a fold.

"Map of Seattle with Transit Routes and Street Locations" from the Seattle Handbook and Street Directory. Map dated 1967.
