Grand Kremlin Palace, Moscow, 1969

On the left is the Grand Kremlin Palace. If you view the large image you will see "C C C P" across the arches of the building. They have been replaced with crests since the fall of the USSR. To its right is the Assumption Cathedral. Next to the right is the Archangel's Cathedral. On the far right is the The Secret (Tainitskaya) Tower.

Taken by my grandfather David C. Cook on a visit to Moscow for a meeting of the International Electrotechnical Commission. Development stamp is June, 1969, so perhaps this is May.

Follow this link for more photos of Moscow by my grandfather. And here photos by my grandfather from other cities around the world.
