3806 Woodlawn Ave N, built 1910

This house was built by my great, great grandfather James T Phillips and gg grandmother Carrie A Phillips. She was born Carrie Reynolds, and her whole family (12 siblings) move here from Ohio as adults. My g grandmother had graduated high school by the time they got here.

Many of the Reynolds brothers bounced back and forth from Alaska, perhaps they went to the gold rush first and got rich. The first brother in Seattle I know of was [Hiram?] Thaddeus Grant Reynolds in 1898 or 1899.

**Edit: It's a bit more complicated. Carrie was James' second wife -- and thereby my great grandmother's step-mother.
