Angeline Apartment Construction

Former site of Tradewell's "everyday modern" grocery store constructed in 1959. It was one of three ever built after a prototype design in Burien. I am currently conducting research on Tradewell and will be writing about the buildings on my website.

For now the best resource is a 2008 report written by BOLA Architects. Unfortunately they did not recognize the significance of the structure and were dismissive of it as an ordinary grocery store built for the auto age.

The Angeline Apartments will have a PCC grocery store in the first floor, continuing the decades of local grocery chain use!

In Columbia City at Angeline and Rainier.
