Kachina is the smallest of my friend's cats, but she can be scrappy. I always see her as the wiry grizzled veteran; there's something about the set of her mouth. But she can be really sweet, too.
I hadn't shot with my trusty 50mm lens since I got my new camera. I forgot how much I like this lens. I can get really tight control of the DOF, and it is a sharp image. This was shot in fairly dim light, but the higher ISO of my new camera, and the wider aperture settings of the lens really came through here.
