Since 2009, The Economist has rated Vancouver the world’s “most livable city”!

Estimated at 2.3 million people, Vancouver, British Columbia is Canada’s third largest metropolitan area of Canada after Toronto and Montréal.

 

Some trivia from Wikipedia.org states:

Major film production studios in Vancouver and Burnaby have turned Metro Vancouver into the third-largest film production centre in North America after Los Angeles and New York City, earning it the film industry nickname, "Hollywood North."
