      Thanks, everyone...it was so fun and I'll definitely be revisiting this block. I could have sworn there was a comment about the pattern but now I don't see it.       I'm just getting back to check on things and I see you did answer anyway, cool- thanks so much for the link! I made myself a red/white/blue mug rug almost exactly like the one you did and I'm using it right now. Now I want to make myself some potholders! :) I appreciate your helpfulness very much, Deb.

      And wouldn't this design be great for a scrappy doll quilt? I may have just found a use for my FMF fabrics!
