Day 28: Take Note

    Newer Older

**** You can now purchase these up on Threadless in our new Other Stuff section!!

Our good friends (and neighbors!) at Field Notes created custom memo books for us! They "rule". Get it?

Actually, they are not ruled. Each page features a graph design and a tee collar making for easy sketchin'!

Would you like one? Would 10 of you like one?

All you have to do is comment below and let us know what YOU would do with a pack of 3 of these beauts!

Tee designs? Grocery lists? Ransom notes? A special function for each? Let us know! We'll pick the best on Monday around 11am CST and send you your very own Threadless Field Notes!

I'd treasure them forever. that's what.
I'd probably also draw some sweet doodles and framed them in rare gilted frames.

I'm a public defender in nashville and I'd use them to take notes during hearings and trials while defending the poor and preserving justice.

Whoa! It's going to take some time for us to go through all of these so hang tight. Thanks!

      1. Write Recipes
      2. Make New "Shirt Tales" designs ( I loved that cartoon)
      3. Plan all my catering events on a T-Shirt, which i think would look very nice and unique.

Share them with my family - we all do different things with them. These are great! I didn't know they did custom orders.

I'd have to use at least one of those classy little sketchbooks to draw amusing avatar caricatures for each entrant who DIDN'T win. BWAHAHAHA....but solely for sketching warm-up.

The second would surely succumb to a growing itch to attempt a paper-engineered fold-out catalog for my modern furniture designs. I might need an extra or two in one of the colors...

The third (and best) would be saved as a diary to the two main gals in my life, my wife and daughter. It occurred to me that stopping once a day to write down a few thoughts on how awesome they are would sort-of put an exclamation mark at the end of "I love you." And if they are bad...well at least its only 4 dozen pages. LOL.

I would make them into a tree fort.

I am developing a unifying philosophy of the universe, and the only way to test each part out is to see if it will work on a T-shirt, so I will be making keen observations about life as we know it- one t-shirt at a time.

I'd bring them to all the fields in Tokyo and take a polaroid photo! Preferably, with a Threadless shirt on.

I'd write down responses to all the silly tee designs I see every day

I love my Field Notes! I write in at least one of them everyday! Each little book has been designated a piece of my life. I will NEVER throw those little guys away-they contain my history. Thoughts, drawings, music, websites, wish lists, phone #'s & email addresses of people I've just met. I love my Field Notes books more then I love my iPhone. Dependable, simple, charming, pocket-sized and intelligent-Field Notes!
If you send some of them to me, the books will be amongst friends, travel, get noticed, have my trust and become part of my life and record my history.

*Note-I have one book dedicated to fashion-my favorite tee shirts are logged in that little book!

I would finally stop doing my sketches on or around my computer and go outside and design with these books. Clearly I could already be doing this but these would serve as a catalyst to make me. Plus you look like a such a badass walking around with these.

If I were to win, I would end world hunger, cure cancer and AIDS, and promote world peace, goodwill, and understanding.

I will spill stuff on them by accident just like I do to my brand new Tees. Then I'll cry but it will now be art.
