The Deep Blue

Yesterday was one of those rare days when the midday color was actually richer than the morning color. Everything just seemed to be deeply saturated, and I actually had to reduce saturation some after fusing the three exposures here. Circular Polarizer helps reveal the interesting rocks beneath the water's surface. Please look at this one large...it makes a big difference!
Technical info: Canon EOS 5DMK2, Hoya Circular Polarizer, 3 exposure fusion in Photomatix Pro (handheld), processed in Adobe Lightroom 4, toned in Alien Skin Exposure 4, Signature added in Adobe Photoshop CS5
