Zooming on Gediz Vallis Ridge with Remote Micro-Imager between sols 2638 and 2731

The Remote Micro-Imager, part of ChemCam instrument, is a telescope which provides high resolution pictures for close and remote targets.

Between sol 2638 (7 January 2020) and sol 2731 (12 April 2020), RMI has imaged the north side of Gediz Vallis Ridge, a foothill of Mount Sharp.

Bottom image was taken by the MastCam 100mm camera. Top image was obtained using the technique of pansharpening, i.e. the fusion of the RMI mosaic, providing details, and a MastCam 100mm image, providing colors.
