This was my first attemp ever, to try to do startrail photography on film.
I actually went out to a location, a little way out of the city, where the light pollution was tolerable. But when I got there, (and this was a few days before newyears eve) too many fireworks lit up the sky, in the direction where I was shooting at. So I waited about 15 min. - still no luck.. And as it was getting colder and colder. I decided to head home. Went in my bedroom. Did a setup of the equipment, and aimed the camera out of the window. Got out - closed the door, and went in the livingroom and waited 1 hour.
Well. I was really surprised to see, that not only was there a lamppost that I thought I got rid of when composing, but there was also firework on the negative - and an airplane decided to fly across my frame.!!!
I guess that's just to expect when living in the city ! ;o)
