the city that lies between fields and the sea
Thanks to any who have taken moment to visit, comment or favourite my photos in past week. I'm a little absent of the moment. I have come across some beautiful photographs though when I do catch those minutes to wander into your photostreams. As for these few photographs, they are ones that feel like they are from a lot longer ago than they are. Two weeks ago and in another month. There are yet more too sitting on my computer from between then and now. I am aware of them collecting but some things have to be put on wait for the moment.
The last two pictures of this group are the first from another Tollohill trip; one a view down to the city and one from in the woods where I was experimenting with tilting round trees like some demented cartoon character. Except I wasn't sneaking (so we can cue and thank goodness cut the pink panther music), I was just trying to bend the light round trees and catch the flare by stopping down my aperture.
The other shots are a b&w version of an earlier posted image, two taken while passenger in a car on a afternoon when a heavy front of cloud broke so in one place the sun caught their edge and caused it to blaze in a line something like lightning, and one simply of the sun through the trees in the garden.
