1974 Honda Civic

When was the last time you saw one THESE? This is a 1974 (I think) Honda Civic. It was one of the first ones made, and was a "tin can" compared to the Civics of today. This one was spotted on Atlantic Blvd. here in Jacksonville.

In 1974 I worked briefly for a company called Dial-A-Pizza and this is what I drove. For being such a small car it was rather peppy. It had what was called a "torque drive" which means you put the shifter in 1, accelerated to 30 MPH then put in in 2. It was semi-automatic, no clutch, but you had to manually put in in 1 or 2. If you forgot to put it back in 1 when stopped you wouldn't get a very fast takeoff.
