pink green PBK Penelope bird baby booties 6

    Newer Older

Who doesn't adore the color combination of pink and green? I sure do! Add that to a touch of cream color and it is a win-win for me..

My signature Penelope bird felt baby booties..trying out different color combination's and new styles too. But, this style seems to be the most popular and I think it is because the ease of use and the stay-put ankle strap details..

Typically all of the details are embroidered but I have branched out a bit with the last couple of pairs and have added some small embellishment details such as the tiny button cheeks and the foil bead eyes..along with the ribbon fan tail feathers.. I have also coordinated the embroidery threads to match the coloring of the booties instead of the usual brown etc..for the beaks and whatnot..I did away with the embroidered legs so that the bird can be larger..

This pair is the larger sized pattern meant to fit anywhere from 10mos.-18mos. depending on the size of your little one..Exact measurements and more info are in the find it view my Flickr profile for the direct link...
