Margaret Skowronski Art Exhibition
Exhibition Opening of works by Tasmanian artist Margaret Skowronski. The Exhibition was opened on Sunday 7th December 2014 by Nanna Bayer at The Village.

Born in Bialystok, Poland, Margaret Skowronski graduated from the Warsaw Agricultural University with a Science Masters Degree in Food Technology and Human Nutrition. While in Poland she learned about all forms of art through exhibitions, theatres, museums and books on art history. In 1974 she visited the Rodin Museum in Paris. For her it was an unforgettable experience.
After moving to Sydney in 1977, she discovered a new freedom in visual art, exploring the world of two dimensions by using simple lines, colours, ink and textures, and in 3D by modelling in clay/wax, casting in various materials, carving or welding.
