    Newer Older

Jun 2 153/365....You can fry an egg on the sidewalk. Yesterday it was 102 degrees in Albany, and today it was 99 degrees. The temperature is supposed to hover around the century mark for the next week or so. Week 22 of 52 of 2011. The theme is HOT HOT HOT.

Well I'm happy someone finally proved it. I've heard the expression all my life, but never seen it done. "Thanks for your culinary skills." Drink lot's of water with your eggs. LOL

Hot indeed! I have two fans going, a window air conditioner, and a roof top air conditioning unit going. The humidity here at the lake is unreal so getting the units to pull it all out takes some doing that's for sure! Hot, Hot, Hot is a great topic! Even the birds are flying low right now.

I was so hoping that this summer would not be a repeat of last year. Looks like we are heading that direction. Beach! beach! I need ocean.

Really clever shot, Mike! It's been hot here, too, although we did have a temporary reprieve today.

Great expression of this heat. We are in the same situation here in Mississippi... and not really happy about it. Way too early for this extreme heat!

I tried this in a frying pan - it wasn't hot enough of a day and the egg just dried up - yuch!. Much better looking here.
