The Benefit Concert and VIP Reception on June 1st, 2013 at Scandinavia House in New York.
The American Charitable foundation "The Saviour" and First American Belorussian Association "Bridge" with support of the Permanent Mission of the Republic of Belarus to the United Nations presented the Benefit Concert and the following VIP Reception dedicated to International Children’s Day in support of children suffering from Phenylketonuria (PKU).
Phenylketonuria is a rare, but well-known disease in all European and American countries. It is an international problem. However, since PKU was discovered by the Norwegian physician Ivar Asbjørn Følling, we decided to have the event at SCANDINAVIA HOUSE, the Nordic Center in America, the leading center for Nordic culture in the United States located at 58 Park Ave in New York City.
THE EVENT included two parts: the concert and the reception.
The Benefit Concert took a place at Victor Borge Hall for 1.5 hour and will be performed by Russian and Belorussian singers and dancers, including famous Russian singer Mikhail Gulko, a world famous dance group, an ethnic vocal group “Golden Rooster”, and a world famous Belorussian group "The Kozak Family Trio".

The following 1.5 hour Reception with wine, champagne and an excellent Russian and European food was at Volvo Hall.
