My Hoosier

    Typically called a Hoosier because they were manufactured in Indiana.
    They were used all over the United States during the early part of the 20th Century-
    Loosing favor in the forties and early fifties when built in cabinets gained popularity.

      Thanks, but they made many styles out of many different woods, many years, etc. Do you by chance know the year or model?

      I don't know the model. I know that it wasn't built prior to 1920 because of the patent numbers inside. It's oak. I hope that helps.

      Well, I found out it is from 1918. I have been able to find a few, but not with that great patina. I LOVE the color in the photos..and the thin slats in front...I have a vintage Zenith stereo with those same style slat marks..beautiful!
