Rails & Tales Steam Loco Festival 2017
A steam locomotive festival was held In commemoration of the 150th anniversary of the modern nation of Canada, running on the Alberta Prairie Railway line which runs tourist operations between Stettler and Big Valley in Alberta, Canada. Alberta Prairie Steam Tours (APST) operated their own 2-8-0 #41 and Alberta Railway Museum (ARM) had their 4-6-0 ex-CNR #1392 transported from Edmonton by truck to participate in double-heading many runs over a week of spectacular steam railroading that will long be remembered.
