Endangered Lizard (Bayawak)

    Newer Older

Taken during my trip in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines, I took the photo of this giant lizard locally called as bayawak weighing between 3 to 7 kilos. This endangered specie is being hunted down by villagers to be sold as pet in commercial pet store or to the restaurant as an exotic delicacy.
