For the last several years, a group of photographers associated with, or close to, the Ft. Collins, Colorado strobist group have met at the Mason's Lodge in Cheyenne, Wyoming to take part in an annual meetup. This is a shot of one of the models that attended the 2010 event. This year's event is slated for Saturday, March 3rd, 2012 between 2 and 6 PM MT. If you are a model and would like to build your portfolio, or a photographer looking for experience and something different to add to your work, this may be an event of interest to you. The lodge is about 100 years old and has wonderful textures, hosts of backdrops and stained glass windows, bricks, wood and large open spaces ... just a great place to shoot. It is a free event and all skill levels, from beginner to pro, are welcome. All work is time/trade. For more on this event, visit the Ft. Collins, Colorado group. Here's the topic / thread where details and updates will be posted:
Hope to see y'all there! :)
