      Well looks like this got linked as well, I'm very flattered. I think the curvature mentioned in the article is down to the lens. Although I can get very shallow DoF with the Planar 50/1.4, the 50/1.8 allows me to get images like this. Possibly a fault in the lens? I don't know I don't have two to compare. I didn't crop it too much if at all, IIRC.
      I did spend some time setting up this shot unlike the happy accident of the lens flare in the picture of Catherine that was linked. I can't really take credit for happy accidents, just be happy about them ;)
      Again, I'm very flattered by T.O.P. - I'm just an eager amateur really!
