I recently picked this set up at a local toy shop and I'm am very impressed by this set. This set is one of the best, if not the best Lego Batman set Lego has produced. Consisting of 1045 pieces it is a large set, and took me a over 2 hours to build, especially since the directions for this are incredibly hard to read. This is the only set in the Lego Batman series to not include a single mini figure. Which is fine as this is a nice display piece. The Batmobile measures in at about 19in including the fire in the rear. The tires are bigger then one Batman mini figure, cowl and all.

Overall this set is very impressive. The amount of detail included in this set is amazing, from spinning engines, to a steering wheel that move the BATtering ram. One thing though, the instructions were a bitch to read. With basically the whole thing in black and no arrows pointing to where the pieces were supposed to go, I found my self with the manuel press to my face just trying to find where one little black 1x3 was supposed to go. The build includes lots of different technic pieces for the motor, and in whole the spinning system, and battering ram.

The features of this set are very cool. I really love the steering wheel which when turned moves the front hood area up and down. I guess the front hood is supposed to be like a Battering ram according to the Lego Batman Visual Dictionary.

Other features include a opening roof to the driver's section and a movable chair for Batman to sit in. There is also the feature of when you roll the wheels the engine spins and so do the flames in the rear of the mobile.

This set has many very nice details such as the Bat-symbol wheel caps, the Batman face at the front of the car and not to mention the biggest Bat wings I have seen. This is really a well designed set, but I wish that it maybe had come with a single figure, such as just a plain Micheal Keaton esq Batman. I also really wish that some sort of cover had been included to cover up the engines so they didn't show all the time. But that is just me.

I believe that I have covered pretty much everything, and I hope you enjoyed my review. Let me know if you would like to see more Batman Set reviews in the future.

Thanks to All Time Toys for selling this set!
