Members of the 117th Air Control Squadron, 165th Airlift Wing, Georgia National Guard, return home on Nov. 21, 2018 after a deployment. The Airmen were deployed to the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility and assigned to the 727th Expeditionary Air Control Squadron, also known as "Kingpin.” The 117th ACS provided combatant commanders with air control for all aircraft, and constant live picture of the airspace for Operation Inherent Resolve in Iraq and Syria, and the NATO Resolute Support Mission and Operation Freedom's Sentinel in Afghanistan.
