fire in kiev

so, i finished my show in kiev and went back to my hotel and started packing to go to belarus and i smelled smoke. 'huh, i thought, that's odd, i wonder what's burning?' and i looked out the window. to see the building behind my hotel in kiev on fire.

 

here are some pictures of the progression. (note: it was an uninhabited building, and the amazing firemen came and put it out so it didn't spread to other floors). and forgive me for stating the obvious, but the fire was REALLY hot.
