I use to pass by this field every day to school when I was younger. It's in a beautiful valley near where I live, but I fear that one day it will no longer exists as it does now. Development and growth surrounds it.
I was coming back home (after the rally races with my dad) through the valley and decided to stop for a minute.
We pulled the car over to the side of the road and approached the field to take some photos. As we were leaving a boulder of a man named Jim approached us and asked what we were doing. He lived nearby and was worried because his place had recently been robbed.
I disarmed him after explaining my story and offered him a chance to take a look at the photos on my camera if he was so inclined. He declined and we went on our way.
I hope Jim gets his stuff back, but until then he's still a lucky guy in my book. He can see this from his front yard everyday.
