    Newer Older

Just got back from my first, certainly not my last, trip to Alice lake. The whole area is a photographers paradise. Alice lake is located in the southern part of the Sawtooth mountains in Idaho

Did you use a graduated neutral density filter or multiple exposures? Seems there would have been a big difference in light between the lake and the mountains.

Paul, It was just one of those mornings were the light was perfect. All I used was a polarizer to help balance the reflection and light in the sky. No GND, no HDR no color enhancement filter. It really looked just like that., It was the kind of scene that sent chills up my spine as I was taking it because the conditions were so perfect.
